They say a weeks a long time in politics. One could also say that about China business, especially the trucking business it seems.
It wasn’t too long back that China;’s trucking and freight business was a good news story. These days it is a totally different story. Where once selling lorries, tractor and trailers was a growing business, to day it is in the slumps.
Sales of medium- and heavy-duty trucks have slowed to a trickle despite signs of a broader economic recovery, leaving dealership employees with little to do. A total of 140,500 trucks were sold in the first two months this year, down 19.6% year-on-year and around 30% compared to the same period in 2019.
