The war on plastics, especially in packaging and micro plastics has intensified. Many Gvts have enacted legislation putting the onus on brands to limit their use on ecologically damaging components.
As both a brand or marketing analyst and consumer, we note that some foreign brands in China have taken huge steps to become ecologically friendly in the home market but dragging the chain somewhat in China.

Chinese consumers in particular are shifting their purchasing habit towards products with a more sustainable focus. Brands who fail to recognise this and act swiftly and decisively may find the green wave in China washes their bottom line red.
