Hello, greetings and again welcome to another edition of Aim2D photo carousel, for Thursday December 16th. For many of us Covid has meant a restriction on travel. Both domestic and international, personal and business. For some of us it is a welcome relief from the hassle of airport check ins and cramped, sardine like conditions. But in case you miss the hustle and bustle of airport terminal life, we may have the next best thing.
Today we continue our travel orientated them, which we began with this article last Thursday:
and will look at Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport’s new, fancy satellite extension hall, which began operational duties Wednesday, December 8th. Covering 240,000-square-metres, about one-third the size of the Forbidden City, it is designed to handle 22 million passengers annually. Clearly China is anticipating opening its doors and border little wider in the coming year. Meantime, while you are waiting, please enjoy these images, again, courtesy of Caixin Global.
