We know that people tend to bypass “sticky” posts so maybe some of you might have overlooked this. By the same token, it’s important, we feel, to showcase variety of links- not just those we feature weekly.

Jing daily focuses on China Luxury, which even if it is not your focus, should still be of interest to you as it is a very good gauge of the marketing climate in China.Where luxury goes, mainstream usually follows.
Caixin is a Beijing based publication with its finger on the pulse of business China generally. Despite its local base, it is not afraid to call things as they are. Caixin is a FREEMIUM publication, some stories are by subscription only. Highly recommended
China plus is the webs page for CRI, an English language radio station broadcasting since at least 2001. Controlled by China Gvt is non too adventurous. Covers the usual news, sometimes in podcast form with the occasional Chinese phrase or expression for those keen to learn the language.
Most businesses know this one. It can get a bit salacious and sensational at times. Is, more oft than not, blocked in China because of its open criticism. Never-the-less, it’s business stories are another excellent source of learning. Not as good as Caixin, worth browsing.
Title says it all really. Their self description states:
“News & Analysis on Cosmetics Formulation & Packaging in Asia-Pacific.” If this is your industry and you want to keep up in Asia, welcome. They also have an EU and US version.

If tourism is your focus, this site updates fortnightly with China travel / tourism news. If not your sector, this take you to their home page where you can chose what fits you.
Yes, lux again. You know why. But also worth considering, your brand may well be seen as lux in China due to its pricing.~ They provide a weekly update on business intelligence on the luxury market in China.

Ahh, it is difficult to go or do much in China without the seemingly omnipotent and ubiquitous Alibaba. A finger in every pie, if there weren’t so many pies. We link to their “New Retail” news page. Why? Because it is the future today of retailing in China. They also produce some brilliant videos.
